Fox News’ Shannon Bream grills Clinton toady: Everyone else is guilty, but Hillary’s different?

bream+guest“Fox News Sunday” guest host Shannon Bream laid responsibility for Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary clinton’s email controversy right where it belongs — on the former secretary of states’s lap — in a question she directed at a guest.

“Does she have herself to blame for being in this position?” she asked Clinton pitch hitter and former U.S. Rep. Ellen Tauscher, who left the House in 2009 to work for Hillary’s State Department.

Apparently, the Clinton campaign has reached a new phase of sending others to answer the tough media questions in her stead.

Bream asked what distinguished Clinton’s case from those of former CIA Directors John Deutsch and David Petraeus, who were both prosecuted under the Government Records Act.

“They’re completely different,” Tauscher insisted, claiming that Clinton never received any classified information on her personal server, adding that others can “quibble about whether things should be reclassified,” and called the controversy an exercise in “partisan politics.”

Bream pointed out that two inspectors general reported that at least 30 emails containing obviously classified information on foreign governments were found on her server.

Tauscher eventually admitted that “mistakes were made” after Breamed continued to press her, but continued to argue that Clintons case is completely different from those of Deutsch and Petraeus.

Maybe Clinton’s case is completely different because it’s so much more egregious. It’s not the crime; it’s the cover-up.

Had Clinton handed her server intact over to the government months ago with the admission that with it containing more than 60,000, there may have been a few contained classified information, the public would have forgotten about it by now.

But Clinton’s penchant for secrecy only made it worse.
