Donald Trump took Mobile, Alabama, by storm, and social media exploded with tweets about it.
The 2016 Republican presidential front-runner held a rally at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on Friday in front of about 35,000 adoring fans and said he now knew what evangelist Billy Graham must have felt, Yahoo News reported.
The rally was originally supposed to be held at the Mobile Civic Center, but had to be moved to the stadium because of the expected large attendance.
Twitter erupted with tweets about the mega-event, some including quotes of what Trump had said at the rally and some from “The Donald” himself, who was not modest in proclaiming it the biggest crowd of the political season.
Alabama was great last night, amazing people. 30,000 folks was largest crowd of political season. Nice!
