O’Reilly gets caught in Coulter’s crosshairs: ‘Good God He’s Stupid’

Conservative firebrand Ann Coulter is going to war in defense of Donald Trump’s plan to get rid of birthright citizenship.

First on her target list was Republican presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina. Coulter said she hates the former Hewlett Packard executive “with the hot, hot hate of 1,000 suns.” Now it’s Fox News host Bill O’Reilly who’s caught in Coulter’s crosshairs.

At issue is a dispute over the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which has been taken to grant citizenship automatically to all children born on United States soil, regardless of their parents’ nationality. On Tuesday night’s “O’Reilly Factor,” O’Reilly and Trump clashed over the amendment’s meaning.

“You want me to quote you the amendment?” O’Reilly said. “If you’re born here, you’re an American — period! Period

Trump disagreed, saying the amendment was written after the Civil War for newly freed slaves and their children — not the children of those in the country illegally in the first place.

Coulter is firmly on Trump’s side in the argument.

Her Twitter followers agreed.
