Caught on video: Store owner turns the tables on armed robber, and the result is priceless

Two armed men who tried to rob a South Florida auto parts store got more than they bargained for when the owner wrestled the gun from one man’s hand and shot him five times in the chest.

And the whole thing was captured on video.

According to the Miami Herald, the robbery started about 1 p.m Monday at CAD Auto Parts in Oakland Park, Broward County, when the two men confronted the store owner. It was when the owner confronted them right back that things got really interesting.

The store owner, identified as Andrew Hepburn, was injured in the fight and listed in good condition at an area hospital. The wannabe robber, Conrad Bloomfield, 36, didn’t come off so well. He was listed in critical condition, according to the Herald.

He’s also charged with attempted murder and attempted armed robbery, the Herald reported.

His accomplice is still at large, along with a suspected getaway driver.

But chances are, he won’t be so cocky next time.
