THIS T-shirt offended singer so much, he offered fan $100 to LEAVE concert

NOFX 2The lead singer of a punk rock band that has a strict ‘no hippies’ policy is willing to put his money where his mouth is.

Fat Mike of the group NOFX spotted a man in a tie-dyed Grateful Dead T-shirt at the group’s concert in Halifax, Nova Scotia last week and stopped the concert to offer the man $100 to leave, TMZ reported.

“I will pay you $100 to leave this show,” Mike said to the Deadhead. “Are you gonna stand in front and bother me all day with that tie-dye shirt and your beard.”

Mike, born Michael John Burkett, told the celebrity gossip website that he’d rather “listen to Dick Cheney play guitar than Jerry Garcia.”

“Punk rock started because of those terrible dinosaur bands playing 8 minute terrible songs. The Ramones showed the world what rock ‘n’ roll is supposed to sound like,” he added.

Mike wound up giving the man $20 to take off the shirt.
