The child rapist was trying to sneak back in.
An illegal immigrant deported after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a child was caught attempting to make his way back into the United States from Mexico.
Joel Silva Duran, 22, a Mexican national, was deported on April 3, one day after receiving a sentence of 10 years probation in a Rio Grande City, Texas, state court for the sexual assault of a child, according to Breitbart News.
But just like Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, the 45-year-old Mexican citizen arrested for shooting and killing Kate Steinle while she was walking with her father along a San Francisco pier, Silva Duran didn’t let a little thing like a deportation order keep him out.
Breitbart reported:
Silva was formally charged with one count of illegal reentry by U.S. Magistrate Peter Ormsby in McAllen. It remains unclear if his arrest will have an effect on his probation sentence and if state prosecutors will seek to have the probation sentence revoked in exchange for jail time.
Revoking probation is the normal procedure, which means Silva should go back to jail.
Deporting him isn’t doing a damn bit of good.
