At an impromptu press conference at the Iowa State fairgrounds, GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump displayed his usual brash, confident manner, telling reporters he hasn’t made any mistakes in his campaign so far.
He said that every time he made what pundits thought was a misstep, his ratings continued to climb. Those included his statements about illegal immigrants, his dissing of Sen. John McCain and most recently, the feud with Fox News that led to a publicly talked about private exchange with Chairman Roger Ailes.
“I Love Roger But You Ask Him, Who Won,” he said.
Trump didn’t specify if he meant the debate, or the brouhaha with Fox News following the debate.
