Hillary on Snapchat: ‘I love it, I love it. Those messages disappear all by themselves!’

clinton-joke-headerHillary Clinton thinks it’s hilarious that her State Department emails have gone missing.

The Democratic presidential candidate quipped at the annual Iowa Democratic Wing Ding on Friday that Snapchat, the social media service known for disappearing messages, is right up her alley.

“By the way, you may have seen that I have recently launched a Snapchat account,” she told the crowd. “I love it, I love it. Those messages disappear all by themselves!”

The joke was in reference to the private email server she used as secretary of state, which she apparently had scrubbed before handing it over to the FBI this week.

Time magazine political reporter Zeke Miller was on hand and sent this tweet that got plenty of response:

Later, during the same speech, Clinton excoriated her Republican critics and told the crowd that the issue isn’t “about emails or servers” or Benghazi.

No — it’s about honesty and trust.
