Crude ‘House For Sale’ sign airs dirty laundry, turns heads

An unusual for-sale sign posted outside a Texas home is catching eyes by calling out the homeowner’s neighbor.

The sign, in Farmer’s Branch, reads “House for sale by owner because my neighbor’s a D*****bag.”

Homeowner Lisa Price told the local CBS-TV station that her neighbor had positioned cameras toward her yard and repeatedly complained to the town about her dogs.

“He knew we had dogs when he moved in,” she said, noting that the final straw was when she received a $121 ticket in the mail citing her for a “barking dog.”

She said she doesn’t intend to sell the home but is attempting to make a point to her annoying neighbor.

The neighbors had a mixed response to the sign, according to CBS.

“I think it’s marvelous,” said neighbor Jim Jay. “It could have been a lot cruder.”

Dede Sons said she laughed.

“Posted it to Facebook, right? ‘Can you believe this! It’s on the street across from me!’” she said.

Only Ann Felton, the neighbor closest to the feuding homes, said she sees both sides.

“The sign’s a little distasteful. It’s not what I’d put out there, but it’s made its point,” she said.
