Megyn Kelly calls for truce after Trump speaks to Fox News boss

Megyn Kelly 2Fox News’ Megyn Kelly says it’s time to move on from her feud with Donald Trump.

Following a phone call between Trump and Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes, the Fox News host began her hit show “The Kelly File” Monday night by comically asking if anything happened in the news while she was on vacation over the weekend, a reference to the controversy surrounding Donald Trump’s feud with her.

Kelly said she would not directly respond to attacks Trump made against her on various programs over the weekend because he felt she had attacked him with unfair questions.

“Trump, who is the front-runner will not apologize,” she said. “And I certainly will not apologize for doing good journalism.”

But, Kelly said, it’s time to get beyond the controversy and back to the news.

“This is a tough business and it’s time now to move forward,” she said.
