Seriously? Rachel Maddow tries to school Ted Cruz on difference between AR-15 and a machine gun

Anti-gun activist and MSNBC host Rachel Maddow used a recent video of Ted Cruz to give her viewers a proper lesson about firearms.

Eager to point out a flub in a satirical video titled, “Making Manchine-Gun Bacon with Ted Cruz,” produced by IJ Review, Maddow took the presidential nominee to task for calling an AR-15 rifle by the wrong name.

To begin the video, Cruz said, “In Texas, we cook bacon a little differently than most folks.”

After firing several rounds with the meat wrapped around the barrel, Cruz had a taste.

“Mmmmm, machine-gun bacon,” he declared.

The video delighted meat and gun-lovers from Texas to Alaska, as they enjoyed the lighthearted video for what it was – a spoof on a Tea Party stereotype.

But, leave it to Maddow to try and suck the fun right out of it.

“It’s kind of obvious this isn’t a machine gun,” Maddow said.

Technically, the liberal lady might be correct, but it won’t sway minds on either side of the political aisle.

Sorry, it’s not “backfiring.”

This pro-gun guy, seems to get as upset as the “nuts” get:

But, many anti-Second Amendment activists praised Maddow and slammed Cruz’s “disturbing” video:

Otherwise, the video is still getting high approval from most real Second Amendment supporters and gun enthusiasts.
