Rep. Gutierrez LOSES IT in venomous meltdown after HIS words are used against him during testimony

gart.Democrat Rep. Luis Gutierrez, an illegal-immigration activist,  proved he can’t handle the truth as he became completely unhinged when confronted with his own words by an immigration expert.

Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies at the Center for Immigration Studies, was testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday about the dangers of “sanctuary city” policies.

When Gutierrez took the floor he accused Vaughan of not being informed and said she was “exploiting” the murder of Kate Steinle, the young woman who was murdered by a 5-time-deported illegal criminal, to make a buck.

Vaughan had angered Gutierrez by repeatedly referencing a remark he had made about Steinle’s murder.  Gutierrez had told Telemundo during an interview on July 16 (emphasis added), “Every time a little thing like this happens, [Republicans] use the most extreme example to say it must be eliminated.”

Gutierrez’s testimony offered the Steinle family a few platitudes about his “sympathies,” but he was only able to keep it together for a short while.

Angry judge rails against immigration system as alien faces rape, murder charges: ‘We don’t even know who he is’

“Apparently people have decided to besmirch people’s reputation, and take their words, and exploit the death of a beautiful young American woman… But don’t exploit a young woman’s death in order to receive a paycheck to put food on your table,” Gutierrez said.

“You should find a more decent and practical way about going about your living,” he shouted.

What an ironic thing to hear from the mouth of a career politician from Illinois.

There is no such thing as “illegal immigration”…! You are either an ILLEGAL ALIEN or a LEGAL IMMIGRANT! can’t have it both ways!

I notice that he took all of his time to defend himself rather than to ask questions of the witness. Perhaps he is guilty of failing to want to get information from the other side of the debate, just as he accuses the witness.
I also notice that he did not quote himself with regard to the incident where he called this a “little thing”. He merely quoted his remarks after the fact, where he did not say anything that a decent human wouldn’t be thinking. I also notice that for a few sentences in there, he actually defended the sanctuary city policy by noting that the courts have held that local jurisdictions cannot be forced to pay attention to federal retainers.

Where does our system go wrong? The Law is The Law. Does it matter if the law is Federal, State, Local, or neighborhood (township)? Why do we have hundreds of levels of law enforcement, each with their own priorities and levels of law? Why not break this total mess down into just a few levels?

Let’s hold all levels of Law Enforcement responsible for enforcing all laws. Let’s simplify and transfer all of the Homeland, ATF, DEA, Marshals, Department of Agriculture, FDA, Department of the Interior, and whatever alphabet you may have, to the FBI to centralize federal law enforcement. Let’s make all of our laws enforceable by ALL levels of prosecution, and allow local prosecutors able to use the whole body of laws.

There are many things that are tearing at the fabric of what our country is. One is the enormity of laws and regulations which need 37 bureaucracies to administer and enforce. Another is the concept of narrow standing, where the law is only available to a select few to guard their own interests. Another is the concept of “Precedent”, where a court is able to bend the clear meaning of a law’s words, another court can bend those, and another court can bend again, until the resulting Juris does not resemble the Law that it was built upon.

There is much that we need to tear out. Just like a garden that has become overgrown, it is difficult to contemplate the job or where to start. Start, though, we must.

so we get it now Luis … you’re words don’t mean anything … not the ones you say to secure votes on Telemundo … not the ones you say on the House floor … not the ones you spew forth trying to stroke public’s feathers while insulting the Steinle family, the Constitution and decent people everywhere … and not the ridiculous show of self-righteous indignation you put on aimed at Miss Vaughn. Your words mean NOTHING! You tell people what you think they want to hear and hope that they don’t have knowledge of the hurtful disrespectful dupilcitous contradictions you say in other forums when think they won’t hear you. If you have one … just one shred of dignity or integrity you’d resign and stop insulting the office and the people you are supposed to represent.
