A movie-loving father found a creative way to get his kids to clean the kitchen.
He wrote his kids a note about his “particular set of skills.”
“I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for a maid to clean up after you, I can tell you I don’t do that,” the note began.
The note was a nod to the 2009 action movie “Taken,” in which the character Bryan Mills, played by Liam Neeson writes a note to his daughter’s kidnappers.
“But what I do have are a particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long lifetime. Skills that make me an expert in home WiFi systems and Cellular data packages,” read the note, which was originally posted by the father to Reddit by the father.
“If you clean up your own kitchen mess, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you,” he continued. “But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you…AND I WILL DISCONNECT YOU.”
The Reddit posting doesn’t say how the guy’s story turns out. Let’s hope isn’t not as violent as the movie version.
