Hillary: A black man in a hoodie is scary for a lot of ‘well-meaning’ white people

Hillary Clinton thinks young black men wearing hoodies are scary.

“For a lot of well-meaning, open-minded white people, the sight of a young black man in a hoodie still evokes a twinge of fear,” she said during a campaign stop in South Carolina Thursday.

The question, of course, becomes whether Hillary is one of those “well meaning white people.”

Even with the protection of the United States Secret Service, Hillary is still worried about a black kid in a hooded sweatshirt?

The bigger question, though, is what would have happened if a Republican candidate had uttered those same words?

Clinton made the speech Thursday, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the mainstream media.

Imagine the wall-to-wall marathon of opinions there would be if the same phrase were uttered by Donald Trump or Ted Cruz.

The Twitterverse, however, had a lot to say about it.

Short overgirthed white women are scary to a lot of well meaning white men.
We are hoping for someone with self control and charming personality traits.
Hell we’re getting steamrolled like Godzilla going through Tokyo.
Backoff woman, there are kids out here!

Oh, man why aren’t the people screaming and protesting. Where are the “Black Lives Matter” folks? Do they not want their Handlers and Masters, the Progressive Liberals, to be fair to them? Where is Al Sharpton? This is racist profiling, Bigotry at its prime, and from the Party that excels in Racism, Bigotry and Oppression.

Ok.. So… I’m afraid of white kids in hoodies, Hispanics in hoodies, Asians in hoodies. Unless it’s cold as fuck out….. Keep the hood off your head. Oh and I carry so they better watch there steps. I will kill a kid in a hoodie if they make a move. Just saying…… Take the damn “hood” off unless it’s 20 degrees. Then..not so scared.

The “Well Meaning White People” as Hillary stated are scared of blacks with hoodies and its not because we’re so easily scared its because of their history of violence, lets just tell it like it is !

I agree. But if a Republican had said this, the mainstream media would lead their broadcast with the story every night for a week, and vilify the person who said that. They would likely be saying it should make them unworthy of election.

Mark, you’re absolutely right. Its the double standards we face all the time !

If statistics are any guide, one should be concerned about a Black man in a hoodie.

When I see anyone of any race wearing a hoodie in the summer, I react as I would to someone wearing a mask.
