LA car dealer ad whacks at Trump piñata; social media punches RIGHT BACK

A Los Angeles auto dealer produced a new TV ad, directed squarely at its Spanish-speaking customers, that bashes GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump — literally — by whacking a Trump piñata.

And social media is whacking right back.

While Nissan of Van Nuys’ general sales manager Martin Cuevas and another man are seen beating the effigy, viewers are told to come to the dealership and ask for Cuevas to knock $500 off the list price of a new car.

Although produced, the ad hasn’t yet aired, according to TheBlaze, which was able to obtain a copy of it. It is expected to eventually air on KVEA-TV, an affiliate of the Spanish-speaking network Telemundo.

After Trump depicted Mexican illegal immigrants as violent felons when he announced his candidacy, Trump piñatas have become a hot item among Mexican-Americans.

“They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists,” Trump had said in his speech.

After TheBlaze ran the story, the Twitterverse lit up.
