NBA eccentric Dennis Rodman endorses Trump; what Cabinet job is HE after?

Basketball legend Dennis Rodman has thrown his support behind Donald Trump.

“The Worm,” as he is affectionately known, endorsed “The Donald” via Twitter on Friday.

“[Donald Trump] has been a great friend for many years. We don’t need another politician, we need a businessman like Mr. Trump! Trump 2016,” the outspoken and oft time eccentric Rodman tweeted.

Rodman is no stranger to controversy by any stretch of the imagination, so it’s highly unlikely that he cares if he ruffles anyone’s feathers with his support for Trump.

For instance, the five-time NBA Champion called North Korean leader Kim Jung-un a friend when he visited the communist country with a team of NBA All-Stars in February 2013.

In fact this wasn’t even the most controversial statement Rodman made Friday.

Prior to tweeting his support from Trump he sent out two tweets defending Hulk Hogan, who he had actually tag-teamed with for a professional wrestling match in the now defunct World Championship Wresting organization at their July 1997 Pay-Per-View event “Bash At the Beach,” after Hogan was caught making racial slurs in an 8-year-old secretly recorded tape.

The Twitterverse had some interesting takes on the endorsement, with one person even wondering if Rodman was “angling to be Trump’s Secretary of State.”
