To hear Democrats tell it, there’s a war on women, a war on minorities… hell, according to them, there’s even a war on the poor. But if you take a good look at recent events, you may walk away thinking there’s a war on the evil white man.
A war where gains are openly celebrated.
The Democratic mayor of Kansas City, while boasting of his city’s great diversity at the La Raza National Affiliates Luncheon, stressed that whites are no longer in the majority there, WND reported.
“Kansas City, Kansas, is a city with no ethnic majority,” Mayor Mark Holland said with great satisfaction. “Kansas City, Kansas, is 40 percent white, 28 percent Latino, and 26 percent African-American.”
Holland took pride in the fact that there are more than 60 languages being spoken in Kansas City schools, without realizing just how chaotic that must be for students and teachers.
“Our school district speaks 62 different languages by the children every single day,” he bragged. “And Kansas City, Kansas, has a proud heritage of welcoming all people into the community, people who are not welcome in other places.”
A remark that echoes President Obama’s oft repeated line about being treated differently because he doesn’t look like others.
The mayor continued the identity politics theme that so well defines the Democratic Party by pandering to “our gay and lesbian brothers and sisters,” making it clear that it’s because of this dividing of Americans that his party is thriving.
“We now are home to another group that has a settlement in Kansas City, Kansas,” he said. “A highly persecuted group in the state of Kansas: the Democrats.”
