Be warned not to make jokes about “dropping the soap” in the presence of the president of the United States.
President Obama spoke on criminal justice reform Tuesday before the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and for some reason was passionately focused on jokes about prison rape.
“We should not tolerate conditions in prison that have no place in any civilized country,” Obama said. “We should not be tolerating overcrowding in prison. We should not be tolerating gang activity in prison.”
Can it be he is unaware that gang activity is rampant across America?
“We should not be tolerating rape in prison, and we shouldn’t be making jokes about it in our popular culture,” Obama added. “That is no joke. These things are unacceptable.”
It’s not clear if the president ever got around to talking about obeying the law, which is a surefire way to avoid prison rape.
