She’s all wet! Baltimore mayor DRENCHED when woman pours water over her head

A class on proper decorum could go a long way in the city of Baltimore — for both city officials and residents.

After entertaining residents attending an event at the Mondawmin Mall by shaking her backside, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake was doused with a cup of water by a woman in the audience, according to WJZ-TV.

It’s not clear if the woman was protesting Baltimore city policies, Rawlings-Blake’s dance moves, or something else entirely.

The mayor was attending the Mondawmin Festival at the mall, which was ground zero for the riots in Baltimore back in April.

The woman, Lacheisa Pailin-Sheffer, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault after she ran up to Rawlings-Blake and poured a large cup of liquid over the mayor’s head, WJZ-TV reported.

As for dancing on stage, it’s just the latest sign that Rawlings-Blake is giving Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby a run for her money in claiming the spotlight for her own.

The reaction on social media to the incident gives an indication of the impression Rawlings-Blake has made on people, with one user asking: “Did the mayor yell ‘I’m melting! I’m melting!’?”

Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
