Gun used by illegal alien in San Fran shooting belonged to FEDERAL AGENT

The weapon used by an illegal immigrant charged in the shooting death of a San Francisco woman last week belonged to a federal agent, news outlets reported Tuesday.

Citing a “source close to the investigation,” the San Francisco Chronicle reported the gun was stolen during a car burglary in June, though it wasn’t clear how it ended up in the hands of Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, the five-time deported illegal alien who has confessed to shooting 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle to death Wednesday on a pier in the city.

Sanchez, who has confessed to the shooting in a television interview, pleaded not guilty during an arraignment Tuesday.

The latest twist on the shooting that has put illegal immigration into the national spotlight again infuriated social media users.
