Gowdy’s wondering how Hillary got away with THIS lie during softball interview

Hillary Clinton CNNAt this point it should come as a surprise to absolutely no one when Hillary Clinton is caught lying, but this time Rep. Trey Gowdy is calling her out on it.

During the mostly softball session Tuesday that was CNN journalist Brianna Keilar’s interview with the former secretary of state, Keilar managed to ask a question that ruffled Clinton’s feathers.

Keilar, who recently attended the wedding of a Clinton aide, asked the 2016 Democrat front-runner why she would delete so many emails while facing a subpoena — and Clinton quickly slapped her back into her place.

“You know, you’re starting with so many assumptions,” Clinton scolded the young reporter. “I’ve never had a subpoena.”

But CNN’s Jake Tapper reported on Twitter that Gowdy, R-S.C., said that was a lie.

“She was personally subpoenaed,” Gowdy said.

Whose word is more credible?

Trey Gowdy, a career prosecutor before he went to Congress and the chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi? Or Hillary Clinton, a woman whose public life on the national stage has been marked by one lie after another for almost 25 years?

The Twitterverse offered its opinion.
