A shocking new video out of Syria hit social media this week, showing Syrian rebels executing captured members of the Islamic State — but reversing the costumes from those usually seen in the murderous videos ISIS propaganda has made infamous.
The kneeling victims in the new video wear black. Their executioners are clad in orange prison jumpsuits.
Syrian rebel forces turned the tables ON ISIS, using theatrics to throw what has become standard procedure for the Islamic State back into their faces, according to the Daily Mail.
And — as ISIS has done so often since it burst onto the world stage in the past two years — they put the stage-managed savagery on social media for all the world to see.
The 19-minute video depicts Jaysh Al-Islam, or ”Army of Islam,” soldiers in garb usually worn by victims of the terrorists, as they lead 13 Islamic State militants to their death.
After the jihadists are forced to their knees, the commander of the detail announces: “Allah did not make a disease without appointing a remedy to it.”
The video captures each of the 13 condemned Islamic State jihadists in closeup after they’re given something to drink.
Then the terrorists’ crimes are announced.
“The most serious calamity for our jihad today is a group of people who grow at a time of division among Muslims,” a Jaysh Al-Islam militant announces on the video.
“This group claimed to be the mother state and made Takfir [accused of apostasy] on other Muslims, shed their blood and looted their properties and dignities,” he continued.
“They worsened… the ordeal of Muslims by corrupting their religion and livelihood and killing the jihadi leaders who did their best to help our stricken nation. They wreaked havoc on our people in liberated areas and cut the supply route of jihadis. They left… Tehran intact and instead they attacked our mosques,” he noted before pronouncing their sentences.
“This is the penalty for what they have committed,” he said. “We also call on their fellows to repent.”
Each of the 13 prisoners is then shot point blank in the back of the head with a shotgun.
The Jaysh Al-Islam’s reported 25,000 troops battle on two fronts in Syria. They fight Islamic State terrorists as well as Syria’s Bashar al Assad regime. This video depicts a graduation ceremony of new recruits.
