Hilarious! What a politically correct ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ would look like

It would be funny if it wasn’t so very possible.

Apparently in the name of “tolerance,” TV Land is pulling “Dukes of Hazzard” from its lineup in the wake of the uproar over the Confederate flag, and social media users are giving the network some ideas on how to make the iconic series a little more PC friendly.

With more than a little sarcasm, Twitter users quickly began imagining what the show would look like if it had to conform to the progressive concept of “politically correct.

The Prius likely wouldn’t accomplish as many long-distance jumps, but that’s the price that has to be paid for being environmentally conscious. Soon, other Twitter users started to throw out some of their own ideas:

No. Please no.

Actually, Jenner doesn’t sound so bad anymore.

Much better.

Some users even thought the name should be reconsidered to help feel minority groups feel more included:

Not everyone was on board with the tongue-and-cheek suggestions for the classic show.

But most people seemed willing to dish out their own ideas for injecting liberalism into the politically incorrect series:

The mental image of “The Dukes of Hazzard” in a Prius — with a coexist bumper sticker — was just too hilarious for most people to ignore.
