Hillary’s email destruction scandal gets DEEPER — and even CNN hosts are blaming her now

Hillary Clinton’s email scandal “has new legs,” CNN’s “Inside Politics” host John King said Sunday, and the former secretary of state has only herself to blame.

The “new legs” King referred to was the State Department’s admission last week that Clinton failed to hand over at least 15 emails related to her duties as secretary of state — directly contradicting Clinton’s claim that she had turned over all the relevant material.

All her emails were routed through as private server located in her Chappaqua, N.Y., home. Clinton claims they have been destroyed.

And that opens up a whole new can of worms, according to King.

“Now Republican are saying, ‘now that we know a few emails are missing, who’s to say dozens and dozens aren’t missing?'” King said.

“Secretary Clinton can’t definitively prove there aren’t additional things that should have been turned over to the government but were not,” King said. “She can’t prove that because she erased her private email server without any independent supervision.”

Clinton’s actions after turning over her work-related emails only made things worse.

“This would not be an issue if Clinton hadn’t erased her email server,” King explained. “It wouldn’t be an issue at all had she followed the wishes of her boss, President Obama, about how to handle cabinet level email.”

Maybe so. But isn’t it the boss’s job to be the boss?

Republicans are blaming Hillary because she’s running for president next year. But let’s not forget who’s president now.
