As President Barack Obama spiked the football and did a Twitter victory dance after the Supreme Court’s decision Friday to legalize gay marriage in all 50 states, a certain blogger was not quite so happy.
“Today is a big step in our march toward equality. Gay and lesbian couples now have the right to marry, just like anyone else. #LoveWins,” Obama tweeted.
“Make sure you toast it at the next White House Ramadan dinner,” Iowahawk blogger David Burge tweeted in response to the president.
Yes, Mr. President, in between lecturing Christians about what they have to accept, make sure to tell your Muslim friends how happy you are with gay marriage being the law of the land and wait for their ‘gleeful’ response.
Burge’s retort brought cheers from the Twitterverse.
