Like a boss! Ann Coulter takes on 3-lib panel, Maher’s whole audience, without breaking a sweat

Conservative author and columnist Ann Coulter went into the lions’ den Friday night when she debated HBO’s “Real Time” host Bill Maher and two liberal guests on the issue of illegal immigration.

“You got to give it to her, she ain’t afraid,” Maher admitted at one point.

Maher began by challenging Coulter’s estimate in her book, “Adios, America!,” that there are actually 30 million immigrants living in the United States illegally, rather than the 12 million cited by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Coulter responded that a 2005 Bear Stearns report estimated 20 million illegal immigrants, and that her “30 million estimate is a very low estimate” for 2015.

Things really heated up when Maher’s other guests, U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill. and MSNBC host Joy Reid entered the fray.

“Thirty million, 12 million — I would just say one thing, worry abut the 50 million Latinos in the United States of America that are here legally,” Gutierrez began.

“Because many of the people that you refer to as murderers, and rapists, and criminals, and people that are on welfare are their aunts, their uncles, their classmates,” he said. “These are people they care about.”

He capped it off with, “So what I think that Ann Coulter is actually doing, along with Donald Trump, they are just revving up a Latino registration machine.”

Reid jumped in with an implication that Coulter was playing fast and loose with the truth..

“I think that one of the things we have to do is stop lying,” she began.

The debate soon degenerated into a free-for-all, with everyone talking over one another.

“We’re not going to talk over each other!” Maher finally said. “It’s not what we do on this show!”

Meh, I wouldn’t worry about the idiots in the audience Ann (and the “head shaking liberals” at the other end of the table). When some brown person who came here illegally, commits some horrible crime against them the media (and Maher) will be right where they need to be… WAAAAY over there talking about some new gay person or a Khardashian.

Grisly robbery and double murder of two Berkeley hipsters…
“B-b-b-b-b-b-b-but, why did this horrible crime happen! We must… BAN SOMETHING!!!”

  2. David Cult says:

Maher is insufferably smug, with his audience borrowed from Jon Stewart. Just because someone picks fruit doesn’t mean they are legal immigrants. Canadians cannot cross the US border and work legally, Canadians can only stay for 6 months. Why are the ones from the southern border allowed to stay?

  3. Chuck says:

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter recently credited hate website VDARE.com editor Peter Brimelow with inspiring the attacks on progressive immigration policy within her new book, ‘Adios, America.’ In fact, many of the ideas presented in the book appear to be closely modeled after ideas presented by white nationalist and anti-immigrant extremist movements in America.

  4. Chuck says:

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, “VDARE.com is an anti-immigration hate website” and “regularly publishes articles by prominent white nationalists, race scientists, and anti-Semites.” The SPLC also explains it has a “White Nationalist” ideology. Ann Coulter think tank

This is why we have a problem, not enough white nationalists.

  5. DwightMann says:

Mr. guteriez admission that the legal immigrants care more about their murderous, drug dealing illegal alien relatives than they do about the United States of America and that we should fear retaliation, is why we need voter id. At least make sure only those legally allowed to vote are voting.

  6. I am Latino and like millions will never support the illegal invasion of our country. U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez is an illegal alien supporter he does not have the best interest of the American people. Mr Guitierrez is in for a rude awakening because millions of Latinos will never support this illegal invasion.
