Smart liberal? Rapper blasted for wishing folks in church had been armed: ‘No one attacks NRA meetings’

Hip-hop recording artist and activist Killer Mike had social media all atwitter over his solution to preventing attacks like the shooting in a Charleston, South Carolina, church this week that left nine African-Americans dead.

“I wish those folks in that church had been armed,” the artist posted on Twitter.

Killer Mike has previously weighed in on racially driven events in Ferguson, Missouri, and Baltimore, Maryland.

Needless to say, with emotions raw over Wednesday’s tragic shooting and many Americans still grieving, there was plenty of pushback to the rapper’s desired solution. He stood strong in the face of the opposition, responding to many to explain his rationale.
