Church ‘killer’s’ sister reported brother to FBI, cancelled plans to be married on Sunday

There is another set of victims of 21-year-old alleged Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof — his own family.

It was Roof’s sister, Amber Roof, 27 who reported her brother as the shooter to the FBI after seeing surveillance pictures of him on TV Wednesday.

Amber was set to be married to her Sunday but has called off the nuptials in the wake of the tragedy, the Daily Mail reported.

Her call led to an overnight manhunt that ended with Roof’s arrest yesterday after a tip from florist, Debbie Dills, alerted authorities to Roof’s presence in Shelby, North Carolina.

Although authorities haven’t said why Roof fled to Shelby, Amber’s fiancé Michael Tyo lives just three miles from where the 21-year-old was captured, in a residential area of brick ranch-style houses.

Now it has emerged that Amber was to be married on Sunday but has cancelled the wedding in the wake of the tragedy brought on by her brother.

These exclusive details obtained by Daily Mail Online show that just days ago she was excitedly counting down to her wedding to US Army Reserve Recruiter, Tyo.

Intriguingly Dylann, who friends and family have described as increasingly introverted in recent months, was not named as part of the wedding party that included Tyo’s son, Andrew, as best man, his youngest child, Tavin, as ring bearer and ten-year-old daughter, Kailey, as flower girl.
