No sooner had the Charleston shooting suspect been captured, then the grievance industry let loose on social media with a conspiracy theory over why he was taken alive.
According to authorities, Dylann Storm Roof, 21, the suspect in the Wednesday night Charleston church shooting that killed nine, was captured Thursday in Shelby, N.C.
And the purveyors of hate say the reason Roof was taken alive is because of his “white privilege.”
Even though no information had been released regarding the circumstances of the suspect’s capture. Once again, the race baiters don’t let facts get in the way of advancing a political narrative.
There was a flurry of tweets immediately after news broke that Roof was arrested, pushing the white privilege theory.
In almost every case, there were responses that referenced events in Ferguson, Mo. — an indication that the false racial narrative that played out there for months has left an indelible impression on the minds of many Americans.
Here’s a sampling from Twitter:

@Bipartisanism Most likely was taken alive BECAUSE HE DIDN’T RESIST!

@Bipartisanism The difference is in how one surrenders vs. charging an officer or grabbing for his gun. #getagrip

Caught alive. Not gunned down in a hail of bullets. White privilege even after a hate crime. Just saying. #CharlestonShooting
