The faux-black former head of the NAACP in Spokane, Wash., Rachel Dolezal, appeared Tuesday for an interview with the “Today” show’s Matt Lauer, but only made herself a target for more criticism in the process.
Dolezal, the product of two white parents and an exclusively European genetic background, told Lauer she identifies as black, proving that after you open the floodgates of self-identification the sky is the limit.
It didn’t take long for the Twitterverse to explode with scorn for the phony.
