Bone-chilling Facebook bragging leads police to missing disabled girl, murdered mother

Two disturbing posts on the Facebook account belonging to a Missouri mother and her disabled daughter led police to uncover a brutal killing and a mysterious disappearance on Sunday.

Claudinnea “Dee Dee” Blancharde was found murdered in her Springfield home after friends alerted police to the alarming posts on her Facebook account. Her daughter – who suffers from leukemia and muscular dystrophy – was missing when police arrived on the scene.

Nineteen-year-old Gypsy Blancharde, who is confined to a wheelchair due to her illness, was discovered unharmed a day later in Wisconsin with a man who authorities are considering a “person of interest,” according to the local television station KOLR.

Friends contacted police after trying to reach Blancharde and her daughter following two posts on the pair’s shared Facebook account early Sunday afternoon.

The first post simply said “That Bitch is Dead.”

Concern grew when another comment was posted an hour later.

“I f—en SLASHED THAT FAT PIG AND RAPED HER SWEET INNOCENT DAUGHTER…HER SCREAM WAS SOOOO F—EN LOUD LOL.”

Authorities say they used information gathered through social media to locate Gypsy with the unidentified man in Big Bend, Wis., on Monday.

Although the man was arrested in connection to her disappearance and Claudinnea’s murder, police have been careful not to identify him a suspect at this stage in the investigation.
