On Saturday, Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, stupidly used this week’s attack on the Dallas Police Department to bash Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s stance on open-carry gun laws.
“Why is @GovAbbott ignoring 75% of #Texas police chiefs who oppose #OpenCarry?” she wrote in one tweet.
“Meanwhile, #Texas gov signing #opencarry law TODAY that police oppose: ‘Gunmen open fire at #Dallas police,’” she said in another.
The Twitterverse responded by slamming her convoluted logic.
