Bomb threat targets GOP in Iowa, but the presidential show must go on!

A group of 2016 Republican presidential candidates gathered for an event that included a pig roast, a motorcycle ride and… a bomb threat.

The weekend get together known as the “Roast and Ride” was hosted by first term Republican Sen. Joni Ernst and boasted a speaker list that included Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Sens. Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham, Dr. Ben Carson, Carly Fiorina and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

But the fun was not without incident Saturday as an unknown male used a voice recorder to call a bomb threat in to the Harley Davidson dealership where the event kicked off, Breitbart News reported.

Entire police dept. disbanded after councilwoman and her son were arrested.

Polk County Police Department spokesman Brandon Bracelin told Breitbart a call was received at 3:23 p.m that claimed five bombs were located in or around Big Barn Harley Davidson Dealership.

Bracelin said no bombs were found and the FBI and Department of Homeland Security did not get involved in the investigation as far as he knows.

“Someone had said they dropped some bag bombs—and they spread them throughout the event,” a source told Breitbart News. “Within an hour they gave the all clear.”

Despite the bomb threat the rest of the day’s events went off without a hitch.
