Rapper drives libs bananas — and gets rave reviews — with take on Jenner circus; He called it a what?

Rapper Snoop Dogg had some insensitive words for Bruce “Call Me Caitlyn” Jenner this week, referring to the former Olympian as a “science project.”

The famed rapper wrote in an Instagram post that he was upset that hip-hop artist Akon’s announcement that he was launching a solar academy to provide electric power to 600 million people in Africa wasn’t getting the publicity it merited.

Meanwhile, that other “science project,” was getting more attention than the story deserved, in Dogg’s opinion.

Here’s the post:

Folks took to Twitter to voice their opinion, running both ran pro and con.

Akon Lighting Africa was founded by Akon, together with Thione Niang and Samba Baithily, according to The Root.

“We have the sun and innovative technologies to bring electricity to homes and communities. We now need to consolidate African expertise,” Baithily told The Root.

“We expect the Africans who graduate from this center to devise new, innovative, technical solutions,” Niang said. “With this academy, we can capitalize on Akon Lighting Africa and go further.”

Now, that’s a science project that matters.
