Bush more popular than Obama for the first time; Americans react . . .

This is going to make liberals go insane.

A new poll shows former President George W. Bush is more popular than President Obama.

According to the CNN/ORC poll, 52 percent of adults have a favorable opinion of the former president while only 43 percent are unfavorable.

The same poll found opinion split evenly on Obama with both 49 percent approving and 49 percent disapproving of the current president.

According to CNN, Bush’s higher favorability reflects an increases of 11 points among men, 10 points among Republicans and 8 points among suburbanites.

The gain also reflects a shift of blame regarding the war in Iraq from Bush to Obama.

When asked who they blame for the problems in Iraq, 44 percent blamed Obama while 43 percent blamed Bush.

Perhaps after six-and-a-half years, Obama can no longer hide behind the “blame Bush” strategy and has to start taking responsibility. (Hah!)

The Twitterverse responses were mixed, with some welcoming the information and others doubting the poll’s veracity, with one — naturally — suggesting the results were due to America being a “racist country.”
