CNN’s Amanpour: We have a better chance of defeating ISIS than seeing Brian Williams anchor again

Larry Wilmore’s “Keep it 100” segment on Comedy Central took on the Brian Williams controversy Monday with CNN International’s Christiane Amanpour.

Mocking both the disgraced anchorman and America’s ineffective strategy against the Islamic State, Wilmore asked Amanpour, “What happens first: We defeat ISIS or Brian Williams anchors again?”

The question seemed to catch her off guard, but Amanpour answered confidently after a short laugh.

“We defeat ISIS,” she responded.

Amanpour’s willingness to take a swipe at Williams almost received more of a reaction from the audience than Wilmore’s original question.

She also explained that America is not taking the fight against ISIS as seriously as it should, and that officials have described the U.S. commitment as “half-assed.”

If she’s correct, Brian Williams is going to have a lot of free time in the coming years.

Brian is developing strategies to support all of Hillary’s claims that she will use during her campaign and he’s having trouble believing her himself.

  2. chuck says:

“We defeat ISIS,” she responded. Very smart lady, who in fact understand the middle east better than the entire GOP
