When real estate billionaire Donald Trump criticizes President Obama, he’s usually right on the money.
Trump called in to “On the Record” with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren on Wednesday, to say that America has become a world-wide “laughingstock,” thanks in large part, to Obama’s policies.
“First of all, we’ve got a president that has no clue what he’s doing,” Trump said. “There’s no question about that. And all you have to do is look at what’s happened in Iraq with these so-called soldiers.
“Every time we give them $100 million worth of equipment, ISIS or whoever ends up getting it.”
Trump added, “In terms of our military, it’s disgraceful what our president is doing to our military.”
Not only did Trump call the recent takeover of Ramadi by ISIS militants a complete “disgrace,” he described how he would handle the crisis in the Middle East – should he ever become president.
And more importantly, how he would not handle it.
“I don’t want to be Obama, where he goes on television to explain exactly when we’re going to attack a certain city, what we’re going to do, what hour we’re going to be using for the attack.
Trump said his war plan would be aggressive and “foolproof” in dealing with the formidable forces of ISIS.
“ISIS is far worse than Iraq was ever going to be and we have to go in there very, very powerfully and strongly,” he said.
“If I run and I win, I don’t want the enemy to know what I’m going to do,” Trump said. “There is a method of defeating them quickly and effectively and having total victory.”
Trump is expected to make an announcement in June about whether he will be running for president.
“I think people are sick and tired of watching incompetent politicians run our country,” he said.
