Judge scolds MSNBC’s Ed Schultz: You’re not a star in my courtroom, you won’t mistreat my staff

MSNBC host Ed Schultz got a well overdue comeuppance on Tuesday when a judge checked the pompous jerk’s ego.

Schultz was in court responding to a breach of partnership lawsuit by NBC producer and sound engineer Michael Queen, and was apparently mistreating members of the court, according to The Daily Caller.

“Your client is a star, but not with this staff,” U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell told Schultz’s lead attorney, as the television personality sat impassively by a few feet away.

“Arrogance is noticed by the jury and it’s noticed by my staff,” Howell said. “I won’t have my staff treated discourteously. He may treat others discourteously, but not my staff.”

She then asked the attorney to make sure his client learns some manners, The Daily Caller reported.

If only it were that easy outside a courtroom.
