Proud Texans brag #DontMessWithTexas: Only in Texas is there an ‘attempted’ terrorist attack

Social media was humming overnight Sunday as word spread that police had killed two men who attacked a Texas event honoring free speech.

While key details of the shooting were still not official early Monday, the motivation of the men who drove up to the “Draw Muhammad” art exhibit with rifles and opened fire on an unarmed security guard is presumed to be Islamist terror. (Could it be anything else?)

And the reaction to the police response outside Garland’s Curtis Culwell Center was definitely pride.

The hashtag #dontmesswithtexas is a pretty good clue.

Texas was definitely the wrong place for Islamists to try to spread their perverted brand of hate.

And this one says it all.
