Boy giving water bottles to police and other acts of kindness go viral amid chaos

Amid the scenes of violence and destruction that encompassed the Baltimore riots this week, a light of hope broke through:

Images of kindness and helping.

In the wake of the wreckage that brought the city to its knees, some members of the community pitched in to clean up, assist law enforcement and rebuild.

From a child handing water to police officers and a mom literally fighting to save her son to men shielding officers from angry mobs, these are the moments that brought hope to a damaged community.
