Woman removed from plane for poking snoring man next to her with pen

A man aboard a Southwest Airlines plane headed from Chicago to Boston was in for a rude awakening – literally – when a neighboring passenger stabbed him with a pen after he had fallen asleep.

“Imagine being asleep and then being stung by bees. And waking up and going, ‘Owww!’” Lenny Mordarski, 68, said.

According to Fox News’ Fox & Friends, witnesses said Mordarski was snoring loudly during Thursday’s flight and had “brushed up against” the woman which apparently really annoyed her. Other witnesses said they had seen the passengers “bickering” before the peculiar incident and assumed the two were married.

“She stabbed me!” Mordarski yelled as he awoke.

Remarkably, the entire incident transpired before takeoff.

The flight was temporarily delayed as the woman and her pen were promptly escorted off the plane. No charges were filed against the woman and Mordarski was offered free drinks to “dull the pain.”

Eventually, Mordarski and the other passengers safely landed at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.

My Fox Chicago reported a Southwest flight attendant made one last announcement upon arrival, “We’ve landed, please keep your writing utensils to yourself, and have a great day.”

Good advice.
