Hillary Clinton’s first campaign stop has been exposed as a fake, a ruse, a total letdown for those who thought she’d actually mingle with the common folk.
Clinton is so determined to come across as a “champion” of everyday Americans, she and her staff staged an impromptu encounter in an Iowa coffee shop Tuesday.
Reporters took countless photos of the fake meeting and nauseatingly coined it as a “roundtable.”
Austin Bird was one of the men at the table and told the Daily Mail that he and two others, were asked to go to the coffee house and driven there by Clinton campaign staffer Troy Price.

“We were asked to come to a meeting with Troy, the three of us…” Bird said.
The other two with Bird were identified by him as University of Iowa College Democrats president Carter Bell and local Planned Parenthood employee Sara Sedlacek.
“And then we got in a car – Troy’s car – and we went up to the coffee house, and we sat at a table and then Hillary just came up and talked with us,” Bird said.
Bird has a long resume with the Democrat party that includes, an internship with President Obama’s 2012 campaign. He was even tapped by Price in 2014 to be Vice President Joe Biden’s driver when he visited Iowa.
Bird was described by a fellow employee at Genesis Health System’s where he works as “basically a lobbyist in training.”
Bird denied that to the Daily Mail, but didn’t deny that the chance encounter with Clinton was a ruse.
“I mean, Troy asked us all to do – to go to a meeting with him. And we didn’t really know what it was about. I mean, he did. He knew,” Bird said.
“The mayor of LeClaire was there, and his wife was there,” he added.
Of course they were.
Clinton also famously visited an Ohio Chipotle restaurant wearing sunglasses but wasn’t recognized by restaurant staff. After ignoring the tip jar – that surely helps bridge the wage gap – Clinton’s campaign notified backup at the New York Times of their whereabouts so that reporters could obtain surveillance footage proving she was actually there, according to the Daily Mail.
Like clockwork the footage was systematically blasted through media airwaves.
Good thing for Clinton that it was, because gosh knows, she’ll never want to have to step into one of those places again.
Twitter users weren’t surprised, but had their say:
