Arrogance has a way of biting you where it hurts.
Oregon runner Tanguy Pepiot found that out the hard way this weekend when he thought he was comfortably ahead in the Pepsi Team Invitational.
What he didn’t realize, as he waved to the crowd, was Washington runner Meron Simon was right behind him and coming on fast.
Simon won the race and Pepoit has become an Internet sensation for all the wrong reasons.
