MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski ‘goes off the deep end,’ says ex-press secretary: Just ‘a parrot’ for Obama

After calling MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski “a parrot” for President Obama, Ari Fleischer’s morning availability may have just expanded.

The former press secretary for President George W. Bush is a regular guest on the program, but went after Brzezinski on Thursday in an appearance on Newsmax TV when asked to respond to an previous exchange between the two regarding Obama’s agreement with Iran over its nuclear program.

Fleischer was critical of the deal, prompting the MSNBC co-host to say: “I’m interpreting what you’re saying as, ‘Let’s go to war.’”

Newsmax TV host Steve Malzberg asked Fleischer if that’s what he was saying.

“You know, I enjoy doing ‘Morning Joe’ because it wakes me up, but Mika sometimes goes off the deep end,” Fleischer said.  “She is just a parrot of the president when it comes to — ‘well if you don’t do what Barack Obama says you must be for war.’”

“Of course it’s nonsense,” he added. “What I’m for is, actually, an agreement that stops Iran from getting nuclear weapons as President Obama promised in the second debate [in 2012].

“This agreement doesn’t do it.”

As for the charge that a MSNBC host is a parrot for Obama, that’s somewhat of an understatement considering the entire network is a parrot for the president.
