Shameful cowardice! Pizza owners have more courage than GOP and Christian leaders, says Coulter

Conservative author and columnist Ann Coulter took on the GOP and Christian leaders for their lack of courage in confronting the war on Christianity being waged — especially by the militant left.

And she was not at all afraid to name names.

“These small town owners of pizzerias have more Christian courage than most Christian leaders, and certainly the Republican Party,” Coulter said during her Thursday appearance on “The O’Reilly Factor,” referring to the attack on Memories Pizza in Indiana.

The Indiana pizzeria was forced to close its doors due to vicious attacks hurled at its owners for stating they would refuse to cater a gay wedding because of their religious beliefs.

Meanwhile, many religious leaders and Republican politicians are meekly standing by and doing nothing, according to Coulter.

“Incidentally, man of steel Jeb Bush has backed down,” she observed, referring to Bush’s backpedalling on his support for the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. “Look, they all have: [Indiana Governor Mike] Pence, Governor of Arkansas [Asa Hutchinson]…”

“Eighty percent of Americans describe themselves as Christian,” O’Reilly said. “Eighty percent! Overwhelming. However, the 80 percent are getting thumped, they are losing by what, 5 percent, 8 percent? How did that happen?”

After comparing the courage displayed by the Indiana pizzeria owners with that of the GOP and Christian leaders, Coulter remarked, “I mean if the one thing — a few days before Easter, it’s worth mentioning besides eternal life with your Creator — the one thing every Christian should have is courage. The most important thing in your life.”

She was on a roll.

“Eternity is already taken care of!” she said. “Go out and fight! You are afraid of being sneered at by The New York Times? That is the one thing every Christian should have, and most of them don’t.”
