Shooting at Fort Meade, men disguised as women attack NSA HQ

Gunfire erupted Monday outside the National Security Agency‘s headquarters in Fort Meade, Md., as two men disguised as women tried to ram their way through an agency gate and were stopped by armed guards.

The men slammed into the gate about 9:30 a.m. in a stolen Ford Escape, according to Fox News. One or both were shot and at least one of the men is believed dead, an official told The Associated Press.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Baltimore office released a statement on the incident Monday morning.

Michelle Obama shouts, ‘black girls rock!’ She doesn’t care about everybody else?

“The shooting scene is contained and we do not believe it is related to terrorism,” the statement read. “We are working with the US Attorney’s Office in Maryland to determine if federal charges are warranted.”

No motive for the attack is known, or why the men were wearing women’s clothes, but word of the bizarre incident spread rapidly via social media.
