While it’s not clear what kind of fashion statement Michelle Obama was trying to make, the seemingly bald first lady certainly attracted plenty of attention.
Plugging her “Let’s Move!” anti-childhood obesity program, Obama appeared briefly Tuesday on the TV game show “Jeopardy!” rocking a new hairdo.
As in lack thereof.
And when the promo hit social media, the follicle-challenged first lady’s appearance overshadowed any message she may have been hoping to get out.

But the New York Daily News offered a plausible explanation: “A seemingly shorn Obama presented answers related to healthy eating on the show, but the potential new look could have been created by a camera angle and lighting obscuring her ponytail.”
