Double-amputee Iraq vet wows crowd, makes judges cry on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ season premiere

An Army combat veteran who lost two limbs to a roadside bomb in Iraq stunned the audience and the judges Monday in a “Dancing With the Stars” episode that was one to remember.

Noah Galloway, the 33-year-old veteran, brought tears to the eyes as he and partner professional dancer Sharna Burgess competed in the premiere of the show’s 20th season.

And dancing on one prosthetic leg and with only his right arm, he proved to viewers at home that his personal motto of “No Excuses Noah” is no empty slogan.

The judges were bowled over.

“Thank you for challenging me,” a visibly moved judge Carrie Ann Inaba said. “I’m getting emotional … it was profound.”

And ask yourself what you’re capable of.
