‘She should have shot her’: Crazed bus passenger tries to strangle state trooper, but cop doesn’t draw her gun

A black Ohio woman was caught on film attacking a white female police officer on a Greyhound bus after the driver pulled over and radioed for help due to the passenger’s erratic behavior.

Antoinette Taylor, 26, was arrested at the scene and is facing felony charges related to the assault on Trooper Tressa Winans Thursday.

The video was posted to YouTube by passenger Zach Baugh who described the incident to WBNS 10 in Columbus.

“The trooper was up on the stairs and the lady’s coming down from the center, and the trooper, I don’t think she went to grab her or anything,” Baugh said.

“She was asking nicely. And the lady, somehow something struck her bad and she went and struck down on the officer. She punched her straight in the face. And after that it escalated outside of the bus. It was plain as day, hit her straight in the face and she went straight off the bus.”

Passengers on the bus were heard on the video wondering why the cop didn’t shoot or Taser Taylor.

“She better shoot her,” one woman can be heard saying.

“She should have shot her,” another said.

Hmm. Unarmed black woman, white cop, a shooting …how would that have turned out in the media?
