Left wing political website Politico continued the liberal media trend of painting the Republican Party as racist with their latest headline.
“GOP leaders to skip Selma event,” the headline blared.
— POLITICO (@politico) March 5, 2015
An intellectually dishonest headline because not only will their be plenty of Republican presence at the event, it was co-sponsored by Republicans Sen. Tim Scott of S.C. and Rep. Martha Roby of Ala.
Furthermore, former President George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush will be in attendance along with 23 other Republicans.
All facts buried at the end of Politico’s article.
Some people on Twitter who are paying attention called them on it.
@ValeriePlame No I think it’s the POTUS who enjoys golfing. Tim Scott (R) is co-chair btw.

@ValeriePlame Are you attending? Are all blacks from the dem party attending? If you don’t attend you are racist by default? Interesting.

@ValeriePlame Golfing probably isn’t the best subject for Dems to bring up. #Helping

The liberals in the Twitterverse were all to happy to lap it up.
